Joyce Herring is founder and president of Herring Management Consultants, an Atlanta-based marketing consulting firm that helps high-tech and other rapidly changing companies generate new business opportunities, improve market impact and make the most of limited resources.

Eager Beginnings
The firm began in the mid-80s by teaching corporate executives at IBM, AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, Squibb and others how to use the PC as a business tool. Soon its services expanded to include product marketing and management, new product launch, product documentation and marketing communications.

Driven by customer needs, our next expansion added strategic marketing plans, product messaging and positioning, marketing programs, sales tools and facilitation of executive meetings.

Today, through alliances with leading service providers, the firm offers full Internet marketing services, Web site design and site management, Internet research, primary and secondary research services, and a host of other marketing and information management services.
